Jigger

A small two-sided measuring cup used to pour accurate spirit measures.

What it's for: Measuring accurate spirit and mixer quantities.

Don't have one?

Use measuring spoons or a small kitchen measuring cup — 1 tbsp is roughly 15ml, useful for scaling most jigger measures.

Accurate, consistent measuring is what keeps a drink balanced — the vessel used to get there matters far less than the habit of measuring at all.
