How this will work
CocktailHQ may, in future, include affiliate links alongside things like glassware, shakers, cocktail kits, and books — the kind of equipment and reading that comes up naturally when you're building out a home bar. If you click one of those links and go on to buy something, we may earn a small commission on the sale, at no extra cost to you.
Nothing is live yet
To be direct about where things actually stand: CocktailHQ has built the underlying architecture for affiliate links — the plumbing that would let a product recommendation carry a tracked link — but no real affiliate destinations are configured yet. Every product placement on the site currently has no destination attached, which means no affiliate link is rendered anywhere on CocktailHQ today. Any product mentions you see are just that: mentions, not monetised links.
What you can expect when links do go live
When affiliate links are switched on, they'll be clearly marked as such — we won't disguise a commission-earning link as an ordinary one. And the recommendations themselves won't be shaped by commission: whether we'd suggest a particular shaker or book has nothing to do with what it might earn us. The goal is for suggestions to be genuinely useful first, and monetised second, or not at all.
