Stout

Stout is a dark, top-fermented beer style with a roasted malt character that brings notes of coffee, chocolate, and toasted grain, usually with a thick, creamy head. It is heavier and more assertive than lager. In cocktails it is used to add roasty depth to beer-based or dessert-style drinks.

Buying & storage

Weeks once opened: Opened, it is on a clock — oxidation flattens it well before the bottle looks empty. Refrigerate it and use it.
